François Cohen-Séat
manages the whole of Art'mell, and is responsible for determining which projects are to be supported. In addition he brings with him knowledge of European and global sales and additional funding networks.

From 1983 to 2005, he was a lecturer at the Haute Ecole de Commerce in Paris for the specialized course in entrepreneurship (Majeure Entrepreneur). François Cohen-Séat started out as a film writer/director in the fields of training, advertising and company communication strategy (more than 100 films commissioned). After serving as Director General of GMT Productions from 1987 to 1992 (30 films for television per year), François Cohen Séat became an independent producer and distributor, and then went on to manage the FILMS DU CENTAURE Company.

Set up in 1954 by Paul de Roubaix, Les Films du Centaure has produced more than 600 films, some of which remain engraved on the nation's memory:

Of the many impressive awards conferred on him are :
- An OSCAR and a PALME D'OR for
La Rivière du Hibou.
- The Grand Prix award for French Cinema for "Les Etoiles de Midi," by Marcel Ichac.
- The Jean VIGO award for "La Belle Vie," by Robert Enrico.
Seven nominations and three CAESAR awards for best short film:
- In 1977 for Comment ça va… Je m'en fous by François de Roubaix.
- In 1981 for Le Miroir de la Terre by Daniel Absil and Paul de Roubaix.
- In 1985 for La Nuit du Hibou by François Dupeyron.
